The title of this post makes sense to my germanspeaking readers only, since trörö (pronounce like „treureu“ or something like that) is what little german children say when they want to imitate the sound of an elephent. I looked on this site but I didn’t find an englisch equivalent.
I finished this little girl elephant from the adorable Jean-Greenhowe book „Knitted animals“. Greenhowe’s design are really a treasure for both easy-to-make yet very charming looking toys and figures. The elephant is for a friend of mine who gave birth to a little girl two weeks ago. I think little Luise and little girl elephant will soon be friends.
I found out recently that Jean Greenhowe has a homepage of her own where you can find a lot of pictures, an overview of her books, hints and also a free pattern. Take a look at www.jeangreenhowe.com!
